I would like to lodge an air quality complaint. How do I do this?

If dust, smoke, odors, or any other form of air pollution is causing nuisance, property damage, or adverse health effects, the BCAA would like to know! The BCAA is an enforcement agency that enforces the clean air laws within Benton County and can help solve the problems you may be having. The first step is lodging a formal complaint. This complaint can be made in-person (directions to the office), in writing (contact info), or via phone. It is especially helpful if the complaint is made while the air pollution problem is occurring so an Inspector can see it firsthand. This helps in the event that enforcement actions are taken. Also, multiple complaints are accepted as it let the BCAA know if the problem is continuing. So if the problem does not get solved in a reasonable amount of time, make additional contact with us.
